2017/18 Season – Come & Try / Sign on Days & Start dates

 

Come & Try days         We will offer a range of activities for interested athletes to try.

Sunday 10th September – 10am to 12pm          Friday 22nd September – 4.30pm to 5.30pm

 Registrations                    All registrations are now online, www.lansw.com.au for the 2017/18 Season

This season there will be a compulsory helper roster for all registered families

  •  6-17 years $120 paid by Sunday 8th October,
  • 5yrs and Under $90 (includes T Shirt) paid by Sunday 8th October
  • All late registrations (ie after 8/10/17) will incur a $10 fee

Uniform prices are available under the registration tab http://www.tamworthlac.org.au/uniforms/    Uniform stock is on hand and available for purchase at the Sign on days (Cash or Chq only- no EFTPOS) see website for prices. Each athlete must have their 2017/18 season number attached to their uniform to take the field (this will include Friday 20/10/17).

This facility caters for wet weather will go ahead in the event of rain

 NSW Little Athletics has a strict No Smoking policy and NSW Dept Ed regulations state that this is a smoke and alcohol free zone

(AGM will be held on this day included amongst Presentation)

Friday 13/1/17 – 1st Competition Night for 2017

Joining Tamworth Little A’s mid season

• Tots is full and will not be taking any new registrations

As the season commenced in October 2016, we are now mid season. For all age groups other than Tots you are able to register, however you need to consider the following:

  • Full registration costs apply - there is no prorata
  • You will need to purchase a Club uniform for the remainder of the season
  • As  Zone championships has already been held you are not able to compete in Zone, Regional or State Championships this season.
  • There are already 2 Friday nights not held due to Regionals and State and possibly other cancellations due to rain or extreme heat.

Registration for the 2017/18 season open in August, for commencement in Term 4/October  details for Come & Try days & the new season will be posted on this website.

Tamworth 2016/2017 Season

Friday 21st October 5.15pm – 1st competition night (No come & Try)

All registration must be completed online go to register go tohttp://www.lansw.com.au/Participate/How-to-Register Print your confirmation and bring to the Club for number allocation. New members will need for bring verfication of DOB. Due to risk management new or renewing members can not take the field on  or after Friday 21/10/16 without their 2016/17 numbers and age patches on their uniforms.

All Age Mgrs will be wearing an orange vest  Tiny Tots – Tracey Miskle    U6- Belinda Clegg   U7- Amanda Berryman   U8- Casey Morrison   U9- Matt Panton   U10- Margi Frazer  U11- Neshelle Battle   U12- Deanne Lesslie   U13/14- Maree Warren  U15/17   Sandra Pianta
Weekly helpers required: – 2 x BBQ 1 x Canteen & 7 timekeepers (yellow vests)
Yvonne Bryant – In charge of Canteen and BBQ Head
Time keeper – Kaaren Jolliffe  (orange vest)
Each age group will require helpers to assist the Age Manager.  Basically the ratio of helpers to athletes required is : Tots, U6, U7, U8, U9 & U10 – 1 helper per 5 athletes + Age Mgr Under 11 & 12 – 1 helper per 8 athletes + Age Mgr Under 13 and older – Age Mgr and 1 helper minimum Helpers will be called for whilst athletes are out doing their warm up.
Please note groups will not take the field until there are sufficient helpers to assist the age manager (all helpers will be required to wear a yellow vest provided near the finish line)
All spectators must remain outside the fence and there are to be no prams or small unregistered children inside the fence.
