Uniforms
The Club uniform consists of a competition singlet or crop top with black shorts or tights. The uniform is worn at all levels of competition. Athletes can select either from a compulsory crop top or singlet. Tiny Tots receive a T-shirt with registration. Club Running shorts are available however are not compulsory. Athletes must wear black shorts or tights
The following items can be purchased at the Come and Try Days or at pre arranged times from the Club room:
- T-shirt for Tiny Tots: free with registration
- Competiton singlet: $40
- Competition Crop Top: $30
- Running Shorts: $15 (optional)
Registration number (bib) must be sewn or pinned to the front of the singlet or crop top. The registration number is placed in the centre of the singlet/crop top (with the full red border showing), age patch on the front top left handside and sponsor patch on the top righthand side. For crop tops, the age patch can be placed on the shorts.
Shoes are compulsory. Closed toed shoes are required of every person entering the competition area. We compete within a public sporting facility and try our best to ensure the area is free from waste.
Spiked shoes are permitted (not compulsory) from the 11s and up . Spikes can be worn in races run entirely in lanes, long jump, triple jump and high jump. Spikes must not be worn by any athlete competing in the Tiny Tots to the 10 age groups, nor by any competitor in events which are not run in lanes, ie pack starts.
Spikes must be removed before leaving the competition area and when not required for an event.
Full uniform including bibs and patches are compulsory for all athletes. Failure to wear the required uniform may result in point score loss.
