Annual Awards

Tamworth Little Athletics is proud to reward individual performances and athletic improvement over the season with a series of awards at its end of year presentation. Awards are determined by a combination of club point score for events participated in and dedication to Friday club nights.

Point score accrual commences at the beginning of the season (first night of competition) and continues through to the last club night. Athletes who join after the first night of competition will have their points commence on their first club night (no pro rata). At its discretion the committee may deem some Friday club nights non point scoring.

The season is broken into a series of weekly rotations allowing all events to be run over a set number of weeks, these rotations will continue for the entire season. Each Friday club will see athletes compete in their respective age group in nominated events.

Points are awarded for:

  • Events participated in

  • Place in each event
  • Attendance
